Fabrice Pierrat
Les Productions D’Oz : score and separate parts ( 4, 1,1,1,and 1 pages respectively)
Here is the 11th in the set of twelve waltzes each named after a month and written for four guitar parts .Similarly to the 1st waltz that I have reviewed elsewhere, this is a simple piece, again completely written as four single lines , no chords or multiple voices anywhere. So it is aimed at the relatively modest standard of players who will get a lot of pleasure from playing in a large group because this can be for four single players, or a guitar orchestra of many guitarists.
It is in C Major throughout with as very small handful of accidentals in the piece, so the performance standard required is not a great deal at all, and so the performers can concentrate on the sometimes complex fact of playing in a large group of players and getting it right!
This is a melodic piece, lots of fun, and not very long, and so is ideal for the group that want to try something new, but not too challenging! Recommended.
