The name of Viktor Zinchuk is well known to generations of music and guitar lovers. For over 40 years, the maestro has continually amazed and captivated audiences. His arrangements of classical music on electric guitar have become a benchmark. They are performed by young Russian and Western guitarists and garner millions of views on YouTube. His ten previous albums have impressed with their mastery, diversity of styles and arrangements, perfection, and conciseness.
Viktor Zinchuk , a Russian player, arranger performer has been playing for close on 40 years .Also he has done many arrangements of classical music for electric guitar. His 10 previous albums to this one are noted for their numerous different styles of music .
This new acoustic album is beautifully recorded and superbly played too. It has great richness and beauty and it creates a lovely atmosphere when listening. The programme consists of the guitarist's own compositions notably the 4 Seasons, Dance in the Sforza Castle, and The Morning of Poor Louis but also includes his own arrangements of classical music various classical pieces too. All these compositions are performed on magnificent acoustic guitars from the artist's collection. In addition, Victor also features in some pieces as a multi-instrumentalist, playing bass guitar and ethnic percussion instruments.
The only downside regarding this album is its availability. When looking for details about the player, I found it exceedingly hard to even see it anywhere, so be warned! It is a lovely album, and good luck if you manage to find it anywhere, but it is worth trying to access!
