Les Productions D’Oz: 36 pages
As the Preface states here, this is a book for the very early guitarists, and I would say particularly aimed at the younger players, who might benefit from some very simple pieces often only a few bars long each, to aid them to be able to sight read better.
He begins with a page where he explains his concept to the teachers, then the first position concept, which is where all the pieces lie, then his thoughts on rhythms, dynamics, and finally some extended techniques such as percussion.
After that we have 34 pages of short pieces, gradually increasing in difficulty, one or two you will know, and the rest, obviously written specially for this book. The first few pieces only use a very small amount of notes, and then very gradually, more notes are introduced until by the close of the book you are playing little single note items, that may have as many As the seventeen notes that you find in the first position in the key of C (No sharps or flats are introduced here)
I can see that along with other material the teacher might introduce, that this little book will have some use, and that it is therefore a book that some players will benefit from.
